Zimbabwe Cricket Schedule 2026-27: Dates & Times

The Zimbabwe men’s cricket team schedule for 2026-27 currently contains 13 verified internationals: seven T20Is and six ODIs. Three T20Is against India are complete. Zimbabwe’s next match is against South Africa in Windhoek on 29 August, the first of 10 guaranteed upcoming fixtures.

The count does not include the Namibia tri-series final. Zimbabwe can reach that match on 6 September, but qualification is not yet known.

Four tri-series matches come first

Zimbabwe plays South Africa on 29 August and 1 September, and Namibia on 31 August and 3 September. All four matches start at 2 p.m. in Windhoek, which is 5 p.m. PKT.

Cricket Namibia has scheduled the top-two final for 6 September. That date belongs in the event note, not the guaranteed fixture table. If Zimbabwe qualifies, the final can be added as a fifth controlled record after the group standings make the opponent and participation official.

The host is Namibia and every game is at Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek. The South Africa cricket schedule covers the Proteas’ larger 2026-27 program.

Australia returns for three Harare ODIs

Zimbabwe hosts Australia at Harare Sports Club on 15, 18 and 20 September. Each match starts at 9:30 a.m. local time, or 12:30 p.m. PKT.

This is Australia’s first ODI visit to Zimbabwe since the 2014 triangular series. Both boards frame the tour as preparation for the 2027 men’s ODI World Cup. The Australia cricket schedule uses the same three records, so a later official change updates both pages together.

Zimbabwe tours India in January 2027

The ODI series opens in Kolkata on 3 January, moves to Hyderabad on 6 January and ends in Mumbai on 9 January. BCCI lists all three starts at 2 p.m. India time, which converts to 1:30 p.m. PKT.

It will be Zimbabwe’s first bilateral tour of India since 2002. The India cricket schedule carries the same dates, grounds and local-time conversions.

India won the July T20Is 3-0

India won the three Harare T20Is by seven wickets, 90 runs and 35 runs. The final match ended on 26 July, so all three appear under Recent results rather than Upcoming.

Zimbabwe is already in the 2027 World Cup

Zimbabwe is a co-host of the 2027 men’s ODI World Cup and receives an automatic place. The 2027 Cricket World Cup hub tracks the confirmed format, venues and qualification pathway.

The ICC has not released Zimbabwe’s assigned opponents, match dates or venue allocations. No World Cup match row will appear here until that fixture list is official.

Afghanistan and England dates remain pending

Older planning material points to a multi-format Afghanistan series around December 2026 and January 2027. It does not provide a current exact itinerary, and the confirmed India ODIs already occupy early January.

Reports also discuss a possible England Test in Zimbabwe during 2027. Neither Zimbabwe Cricket nor the ECB has published a match-ready date and venue in the sources checked for this page. Both blocks remain status notes rather than invented fixtures.

Times are shown in PKT

Windhoek and Harare are three hours behind Pakistan during these dates. A 2 p.m. start becomes 5 p.m. PKT, while a 9:30 a.m. start becomes 12:30 p.m. PKT. India is 30 minutes ahead of Pakistan, so its 2 p.m. ODI starts become 1:30 p.m. PKT.

What this page excludes

This page covers the senior Zimbabwe men’s international team. It excludes Zimbabwe Women, Zimbabwe A, academy and under-19 teams, domestic competitions, warm-ups and franchise leagues.

It also excludes the conditional tri-series final, month-only FTP blocks and every 2027 World Cup matchup that the ICC has not assigned. That boundary prevents secondary fixture feeds from making the schedule look fuller than the official calendar.
