Women's Asia Cup 2026 Schedule: Fixtures, Teams & Format

The 2026 Women’s Asia Cup schedule runs from 28 August to 13 September 2026 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Eight teams will play 15 T20Is: 12 group matches, two semi-finals and the final. Every match starts at 6:30 p.m. in Dubai, or 7:30 p.m. PKT.

Thailand and Hong Kong, China open the tournament on 28 August. Sri Lanka is the defending champion, while India enters as the most successful team in Women’s Asia Cup history.

India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh entered as the established Full Member teams. Thailand, UAE, Hong Kong, China and Indonesia qualified by reaching the semi-finals of the ACC Women’s Premier Cup in Malaysia.

For Indonesia, this is a first senior Asia Cup appearance. Hong Kong, China also returns through the qualifier rather than being added as a replacement after the draw.

The live fixture table below contains all 12 confirmed group matches in date order, with the Dubai start converted to PKT. It does not create placeholder team names for knockout matches.

The group stage runs on alternate Group A and Group B matchdays from 28 August through 8 September. India vs Pakistan is on 5 September, and defending champion Sri Lanka opens against host UAE on 29 August.

Semi-finals and final

The top two teams from each group advance. The semi-finals are scheduled for 10 and 11 September, followed by the final on 13 September. All three knockout matches remain at Dubai International Cricket Stadium with 7:30 p.m. PKT starts.

Those dates are confirmed, but the teams are not. SportsMuntra will add each knockout as a structured fixture only after the group standings determine the matchup. Until then, labelling a team as a semi-finalist would be a prediction, not a schedule fact.

How the format works

Each team plays the other three teams in its group once. Match points and the official tie-break rules determine the top two in each group. Four teams leave after the group stage and four continue to the semi-finals.

The ICC confirms the top-two qualification rule. Any live points table added here will use official results and the tournament’s published net run rate rather than a locally reconstructed estimate.

Tickets for Dubai

The Emirates Cricket Board says tickets are sold through the District app and district.ae, with paid tickets starting at AED 20. Its 26 August announcement also offers free general admission for ten group-stage matches.

Availability and seat categories can change. Use the official ticket route linked by the Emirates Cricket Board, and check the selected match before travelling. A third-party resale listing is not treated as an official ticket source.

How to watch in Pakistan

The Pakistan Cricket Board confirms PTV Sports as the television broadcaster in Pakistan and Tamasha as the official live-streaming option. Ball-by-ball scores are available through the Asian Cricket Council’s official site.

Venue and weather context

Every match is at Dubai International Cricket Stadium and begins after sunset. A single venue simplifies travel, but it does not guarantee identical pitch or weather conditions across the 17-day event.

Squads and replacements

The ICC has published 15-player squads for all eight teams. The team schedule pages above provide the clean route into each side’s fixtures and related coverage.

If a squad replacement is officially approved, the relevant team or match page will show it with the announcement date. The original squad list should not silently change without a source trail.

Prize money status

No official prize-money figure was found in the ACC, ICC, PCB or Emirates Cricket Board material checked on 28 August 2026. Search snippets that discuss the AFC Women’s Asian Cup refer to football, not this cricket tournament.
