Sri Lanka Women Cricket Schedule 2026-27: Fixtures

The Sri Lanka Women cricket schedule for 2026-27 currently contains four guaranteed matches: three Women’s Asia Cup group games in Dubai and an Asian Games quarter-final in Japan.

Sri Lanka Women’s next match is against the United Arab Emirates Women at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 29 August 2026 at 7:30 p.m. PKT. It opens Sri Lanka’s defence of the Asia Cup title.

Possible semi-finals and finals are not counted in the four. A tournament date becomes a Sri Lanka fixture only after the team qualifies and the bracket assigns an opponent.

Women’s Asia Cup group schedule

Sri Lanka is in Group B with Bangladesh, Indonesia and the UAE. All three matches will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium and begin at 7:30 p.m. PKT:

• 29 August: Sri Lanka Women vs UAE Women
• 2 September: Sri Lanka Women vs Indonesia Women
• 6 September: Sri Lanka Women vs Bangladesh Women

The top two teams in each group advance to the semi-finals on 10 and 11 September. The final is on 13 September. Those dates remain tournament context until Sri Lanka secures a place.

The Bangladesh Women’s schedule shares the 6 September record, so the match date and start cannot drift between the two team pages.

Asian Games quarter-final against Malaysia

Sri Lanka plays Malaysia at Korogi Sports Park in Aichi on 18 September at 9 a.m. JST, which is 5 a.m. PKT. The Japan Cricket Association event calendar is the controlling source for the date, start and venue.

The women’s semi-finals are scheduled for 20 September, with medal matches on 22 September. Those remain conditional until the quarter-final result supplies Sri Lanka’s next opponent.

Champions Trophy: host window confirmed, draw pending

Sri Lanka will host the inaugural Women’s Champions Trophy from 14 to 28 February 2027. The ICC moved the tournament from its older June-July window.

The event window is confirmed, but the match draw, Sri Lanka’s opponents, grounds and starts are not. This page will add those rows after the ICC publishes the schedule rather than turning the host dates into guessed fixtures.

Future bilateral series are not exact fixtures yet

The Women’s Future Tours Programme includes later blocks involving England, Australia, India, South Africa and Ireland Women. Several secondary schedule pages present those month-level commitments as if they were match-ready itineraries.

Latest results: two 2-1 series wins over Pakistan

Sri Lanka’s latest completed assignment was Pakistan’s July-August tour. Pakistan won the opening ODI, then Sri Lanka won the next two to take the Women’s Championship series 2-1.

Sri Lanka also won the first two T20Is by six wickets before Pakistan took the final match by four wickets. The six controlled results appear below, while the Pakistan Women’s schedule uses the same records from the visiting side.

Dubai is one hour behind Pakistan, so the Asia Cup’s 6:30 p.m. local starts display as 7:30 p.m. PKT. Japan is four hours ahead, so the 9 a.m. Asian Games start displays as 5 a.m. PKT.
