England Women Cricket Schedule 2026-27: Fixtures & Times
Next match: England Women vs Ireland Women, 1st ODI at Uptonsteel County Ground, Leicester on 1 September 2026 at 5:00 pm PKT.
Data checked 28 August 2026
The England Women cricket schedule for 2026-27 currently contains 16 exact upcoming internationals: one Test, nine ODIs and six T20Is. England’s next match is the first ODI against Ireland at Leicester on 1 September 2026, starting at 5 p.m. PKT.
The match table includes only fixtures with an official date and venue. Several additional 2027 tours are genuine Future Tours Programme commitments, but they stay outside the table until the boards publish match-ready itineraries.
England’s latest completed Test was the first women’s Test staged at Lord’s, where India Women won by 270 runs in July 2026. It appears under Recent results rather than being mixed into the upcoming England calendar.
Eleven days earlier, England beat South Africa Women by 40 runs in the T20 World Cup semi-final at The Oval. That result is attached to both teams’ calendars rather than being duplicated as two separate records.
England Women’s confirmed 2026-27 series
| Series | Dates | Matches | Formats | Host |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ireland Women tour of England | 1-6 September 2026 | 3 | ODI | England |
| Women’s Ashes | 24 June-20 July 2027 | 7 | 1 Test, 3 T20Is, 3 ODIs | England |
| Bangladesh Women tour of England | 8-24 September 2027 | 6 | 3 T20Is, 3 ODIs | England |
These three blocks account for every exact row currently shown. A tour month and match count alone do not supply a date, ground or start time, so they are treated separately below.
Ireland are the next opponents
England hosts Ireland Women for three Women’s Championship ODIs:
- 1 September: Leicester, 5 p.m. PKT
- 3 September: Derby, 5 p.m. PKT
- 6 September: Worcester, 2:30 p.m. PKT
The latest Cricket Ireland and ECB squad releases list a 10:30 a.m. local start for the Worcester match. That replaces older announcements showing 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. A warm-up match on the tour is not a senior ODI and is not counted.
All three ODIs contribute to the 2025-29 ICC Women’s Championship. The competition uses three-match ODI series as part of the qualification pathway for the 2029 Women’s Cricket World Cup.
Women’s Ashes 2027 dates
The multi-format Women’s Ashes opens with a four-day Test at Headingley from 24 to 27 June 2027. Three T20Is follow at Trent Bridge, The Oval and Old Trafford, then three ODIs at Southampton, Lord’s and Edgbaston. The Australia Women’s schedule carries the visitors’ Bangladesh and New Zealand blocks alongside these seven shared matches.
The ECB has confirmed the UK start for every match. In Pakistan, the Test begins at 3 p.m.; the T20Is begin at 11 p.m., 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.; and all three ODIs begin at 5 p.m.
The Test cricket guide explains the multi-innings format used at Headingley. The ODI overs guide covers the 50-over leg, while the T20 World Cup winners list records Australia beating England in the 2026 women’s final before this Ashes rematch.
Bangladesh tour in September 2027
Bangladesh Women’s schedule brings the visitors to England after confirmed tours of Australia and New Zealand. Their English visit begins with T20Is at Northampton, Taunton and Worcester on 8, 10 and 12 September. The ODIs follow at Hove, Canterbury and Chelmsford on 17, 21 and 24 September.
The evening T20Is start at 10:30 p.m. PKT, the Sunday T20I at 6:30 p.m., and all three ODIs at 4:30 p.m. The 2027 international cricket calendar places these fixtures alongside the men’s and women’s international program without merging the teams.
Other 2027 commitments are not exact fixtures yet
The Women’s FTP also gives England these series-level blocks:
- an away series against Sri Lanka Women, originally placed in February, with three ODIs and three T20Is;
- a West Indies tour in April with one Test, three ODIs and three T20Is; and
- a Pakistan tour in October with three ODIs and three T20Is.
None has a current match-by-match release with exact dates and venues. They remain confirmed commitments, not 19 invented fixture rows.
The February calendar needs a fresh announcement
The ICC moved the inaugural Women’s Champions Trophy from its older June-July window to 14-28 February 2027 in Sri Lanka. That now overlaps the original February slot for England’s bilateral Sri Lanka tour.
England is among the five ranking teams named by the ICC for the Champions Trophy field. The ICC has not released England’s opponents, match dates or venues. This page will wait for the event schedule and a revised bilateral itinerary instead of assuming how the overlap will be solved.
Times are shown in PKT
England is four hours behind Pakistan during British Summer Time. Each controlled match keeps the official local start and the site converts it to PKT. If a start changes, the approved source is updated first; the visible time then changes without creating a new URL.
The cricket abbreviations guide explains ENG-W, ODI, T20I, TBC and TBD. A confirmed fixture can still have an unannounced start, while an FTP series without exact dates does not yet qualify as a fixture row.
What this schedule excludes
This page covers the senior England women’s international team. It excludes England Women A, under-19s, county and regional cricket, The Hundred, warm-ups, England Men and mixed-disability fixtures.
It also excludes tournament matches before the organizer assigns England an exact fixture. Keeping those boundaries visible prevents broad schedule feeds from inflating the senior team’s calendar.
How this permanent URL stays current
The URL remains /england-womens-cricket-team-schedule/. Completed matches move from Upcoming to Recent results after an official result is recorded. Newly announced matches join the same controlled schedule, and the active period changes only when the visible calendar actually rolls forward.
Routine checks update dataVerifiedAt. dateModified changes after a material fixture, result or editorial update, not after a source check that finds no change.
