Australia Women Cricket Schedule 2026-27: Fixtures & Times

The Australia Women cricket schedule for 2026-27 currently has 20 confirmed internationals: six home matches against Bangladesh, seven in South Africa and seven Women’s Ashes matches in England. Six originally dated New Zealand matches remain visible as postponed because NZC says the series will be played later after the Women’s Champions Trophy moved to February.

Australia’s next match is the first ODI against Bangladesh at Allan Border Field, Brisbane, on 9 October 2026 at 8:50 a.m. PKT.

Bangladesh are the next opponents

Bangladesh makes its first bilateral visit to Australia for three day-night ODIs in Brisbane and three night T20Is at North Sydney Oval.

Why the New Zealand series is postponed

Cricket Australia announced three T20Is from 21 to 26 February and three ODIs from 1 to 7 March 2027. The ICC then moved the Women’s Champions Trophy to 14-28 February 2027.

NZC’s later home-summer announcement says the Australia series will be played at a later date. That is stronger than a simple calendar conflict, so all six old rows now carry a postponed status. The New Zealand Women’s schedule applies the same status from the touring side.

Until Cricket Australia or New Zealand Cricket publishes the replacement itinerary, the old dates are not treated as playable fixtures. The 2027 international calendar applies the same rule: a postponed series is shown honestly, not quietly moved by guesswork.

First bilateral tour of South Africa

Australia will play its first bilateral women’s tour in South Africa from 18 March to 11 April 2027. Three T20Is in Kimberley, Benoni and East London are followed by three Women’s Championship ODIs in Gqeberha, Paarl and Durban. A four-day Test at JB Marks Oval, Potchefstroom, closes the tour.

The local starts convert to 9 p.m., 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. PKT for the T20Is; 1 p.m., 5 p.m. and 5 p.m. for the ODIs; and 1 p.m. for each day of the Test. The South Africa Women’s schedule uses the same seven records and places the tour after the hosts’ Zimbabwe and India series.

Women’s Ashes 2027 dates

Australia begins the multi-format Ashes with a four-day Test at Headingley from 24 to 27 June 2027. T20Is follow at Trent Bridge, The Oval and Old Trafford, then ODIs at Southampton, Lord’s and Edgbaston.

The Test is worth four points and each white-ball match two. Australia has held the trophy since 2015. The England Women’s schedule uses the same seven controlled records, so the dates, grounds and starts do not drift between the two team pages.

In Pakistan, the Test starts at 3 p.m.; the T20Is at 11 p.m., 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.; and all three ODIs at 5 p.m. The Test cricket guide explains why the four-day women’s match still has two innings per side.

Why there is no New Zealand Test

Cricket Australia said it wanted the home New Zealand series to include a Test, but New Zealand did not agree to the red-ball match. The final announced program is therefore six white-ball internationals only.

That explanation belongs on the schedule because public discussion repeatedly asks whether the Test is missing from broad fixture feeds. It is not an omitted row.

Times are shown in PKT

Australia spans several time zones. Brisbane remains on AEST, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne use AEDT in summer, and Adelaide uses ACDT. Each match stores the published local offset before it is converted to Pakistan time.

What this schedule excludes

This page covers the senior Australia women’s international team. It excludes Australia A, under-19s, WNCL, WBBL, warm-ups, domestic exhibition matches, Australia Men and mixed-disability cricket.

It also excludes Champions Trophy rows until the ICC publishes the match list. The ICC named Australia among the ranking teams for the field, and the event hub holds the confirmed window, six-team field and format. Australia’s exact opponents, dates and venues are not yet available.
