South Africa Women Cricket Schedule 2026-27: Fixtures

The South Africa Women cricket schedule for 2026-27 currently contains 19 exact upcoming internationals: five T20Is in Zimbabwe, seven home matches against India and seven home matches against Australia.

South Africa Women’s next match is the first T20I against Zimbabwe at Queen’s Sports Club, Bulawayo, on 11 September 2026 at 4:30 p.m. PKT. All five matches on that tour use the same ground and start time.

The table does not count the Women’s Champions Trophy because the event window is confirmed but South Africa’s match dates, opponents and venues have not yet been published.

Zimbabwe are the next opponents

South Africa will play its first bilateral series against Zimbabwe Women from 11 to 19 September. Every match is a T20I at Queen’s Sports Club in Bulawayo:

• 15 September: third T20I
• 17 September: fourth T20I
• 19 September: fifth T20I

Cricket South Africa’s 19 August release gives a 1:30 p.m. local start for all five matches. Zimbabwe and South Africa use UTC+2 in September, so each start appears here as 4:30 p.m. PKT. That governing-body release controls over an unofficial page showing 1 p.m.

India’s revised seven-match tour

The current India tour is not the earlier four-match itinerary that still appears on some fixture pages. The ICC announced a revised schedule on 7 August, moving the Test to the front and adding three T20Is:

• 9-12 December: only Test at St George’s Park, Gqeberha, 1 p.m. PKT
• 16 December: first ODI at Boland Park, Paarl, 1 p.m. PKT
• 19 December: second ODI at Newlands, Cape Town, 5 p.m. PKT
• 22 December: third ODI at Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein, 5 p.m. PKT
• 26 December: first T20I at Willowmoore Park, Benoni, 9 p.m. PKT
• 29 and 30 December: second and third T20Is at North West University Oval, Potchefstroom, 9 p.m. PKT

The India Women’s schedule uses the same controlled records. The shared data prevents one team page from retaining the superseded tour while the other shows the revision.

Australia’s historic first bilateral visit

Australia’s women will tour South Africa for a bilateral series for the first time. The tour begins with T20Is in Kimberley, Benoni and East London, moves to three Women’s Championship ODIs, and ends with a four-day Test in Potchefstroom.

The Test will be only the second between the teams, after their 2024 match in Perth. The Australia Women’s schedule places this away tour after Australia’s Bangladesh home series and before the 2027 Women’s Ashes.

The February Champions Trophy is not a fixture list yet

South Africa is among the five ranking teams named by the ICC for the inaugural Women’s Champions Trophy. The event will run from 14-28 February 2027 in Sri Lanka.

Those event dates do not reveal South Africa’s opponents, grounds or match dates. This page will add the tournament rows only after the ICC publishes the draw and match schedule.

Recent Women’s T20 World Cup results

South Africa recovered from a 65-run opening defeat against Australia to beat Pakistan, India, the Netherlands and Bangladesh, reaching the semi-finals. England then won that semi-final by 40 runs at The Oval.

The sequence matters more than a generic form label: South Africa won four consecutive group games before the knockout loss. The Women’s T20 World Cup winners section records the eventual champion separately.

Zimbabwe and South Africa are three hours behind Pakistan during these series. The schedule stores the official local start and converts it to PKT; it does not copy a device-dependent time from a live-score feed.
