New Zealand Women Cricket Schedule 2026-27: Fixtures & Results

The New Zealand Women cricket schedule for 2026-27 currently has six confirmed internationals: three T20Is and three ODIs against Bangladesh from 10 to 23 December 2026.

The White Ferns’ next match is the first T20I against Bangladesh at Saxton Oval, Nelson, on 10 December 2026. NZC has confirmed the date and venue, but the start time has not yet been announced.

The Australia rows remain visible as a record of the original itinerary, but their status is Postponed. They are not counted among the six confirmed upcoming matches.

Bangladesh is the only confirmed home tour

New Zealand hosts Bangladesh for six matches before Christmas:

• 10 and 12 December: first and second T20Is at Saxton Oval, Nelson
• 15 December: third T20I at Basin Reserve, Wellington
• 18 December: first ODI at Basin Reserve
• 21 and 23 December: second and third ODIs at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui

NZC describes this as the White Ferns’ only home tour of the season. Its official release confirms the sequence, dates and venues but does not list start times, so the match table does not borrow a time from an aggregator.

The Australia series will be played later

Cricket Australia originally dated three T20Is for 21, 24 and 26 February 2027 and three ODIs for 1, 5 and 7 March. The ICC later moved the inaugural Women’s Champions Trophy to 14-28 February 2027.

NZC’s subsequent home-summer announcement says the Australia tour will be played at a later date. That makes the original itinerary postponed, not merely uncertain. The Australia Women’s schedule now uses the same status.

The six rows will receive replacement dates only after NZC or Cricket Australia publishes them. A stale fixture feed is not enough to reactivate the old itinerary.

Recent Women’s T20 World Cup results

New Zealand finished the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup group stage with two wins and three losses. They lost to West Indies by seven wickets and Sri Lanka by five wickets, then beat Ireland Women by four runs and Scotland by six wickets. England’s nine-wicket win in the final group match eliminated the defending champions.

The England match was also the final White Ferns appearance for Sophie Devine, Suzie Bates and Lea Tahuhu, according to the ICC report. The Women’s T20 World Cup winners section keeps New Zealand’s 2024 title separate from the 2026 result.

Why old fixture feeds can disagree

Schedule aggregators often keep the first published date even after a board moves a series. That is why some current feeds still display the Australia matches as ordinary February and March fixtures.

SportsMuntra uses the later official status: Cricket Australia’s release supplies the original itinerary, while NZC’s later notice controls whether those dates remain active. The match rows preserve both the audit trail and the current reader warning.

Confirmed local starts are converted to Pakistan Standard Time. For the Bangladesh series, the official pages reviewed have not announced starts, so the table says Start time not announced.

What this schedule excludes

This page covers the senior New Zealand women’s international team. It excludes New Zealand Women A, under-19s, domestic cricket, warm-ups, franchise leagues, New Zealand Men and the rugby union team also known as the Black Ferns.

It also excludes Champions Trophy match rows until the ICC publishes New Zealand’s exact opponent, date and venue. The ICC named New Zealand among the ranking teams for the field, and the event hub tracks the format and current announcement status.
