The Sri Lanka tour of Pakistan 2026 includes five bilateral internationals: three T20Is in Rawalpindi on 9, 11 and 13 October, then two Tests in Rawalpindi and Lahore from 9 to 21 November. Sri Lanka is due to arrive in Pakistan on 4 October.

Pakistan also hosts Sri Lanka and England in an ODI tri-series between the two bilateral blocks. The live fixture table below contains the five confirmed bilateral internationals. It uses date-only records where the PCB has not announced a start time, rather than presenting a third-party estimate as official.

Rawalpindi hosts all three T20Is and the first Test. The second Test moves to Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Three T20Is in Rawalpindi

The T20I series is packed into five days, with matches on Friday 9 October, Sunday 11 October and Tuesday 13 October. All three are at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The announcement confirms the dates and ground, but not the toss or start times. Those details will be added only after the PCB publishes them. The Pakistan cricket schedule and Sri Lanka cricket schedule use these same controlled fixture records, so a change needs to be corrected in one place rather than copied between pages.

Two Tests in the World Test Championship

The first Test runs from 9 to 13 November in Rawalpindi. The second is scheduled for 17 to 21 November at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Both are part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27.

Where the ODI tri-series fits

Between the T20Is and Tests, Pakistan hosts an ODI competition involving Pakistan, Sri Lanka and England from 18 to 31 October. It has six league matches and a final, with games split between Rawalpindi and Lahore.

The Pakistan ODI Tri-Series 2026 hub has the complete seven-match event schedule. It remains separate here because England is a participant and each pair meets twice; calling those games part of a bilateral Pakistan vs Sri Lanka series would misstate the competition.

The three-day match is not a senior Pakistan fixture

The PCB schedule includes a three-day match in Islamabad from 4 to 6 November. The announcement does not identify the opposition, so SportsMuntra has not attached it to the senior Pakistan team or added it to the five-match international table.

Once the PCB names the teams, the match can be added with the correct level and status. Until then, an unnamed warm-up opponent is not evidence of a Pakistan Test-team fixture.

What is still to be announced

At the 28 August check, the official releases did not provide match start times, squads, ticket-sale details, territory-specific broadcasters or streaming services. Those omissions are deliberate status notes, not empty placeholders.
