Pakistan ODI Tri-Series 2026 Schedule: Teams & Fixtures

The Pakistan ODI Tri-Series 2026 brings Pakistan, England and Sri Lanka together for six league matches and a final from 18 to 31 October. Each pair meets twice. The first three games are at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium; the last three league games and final are at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Sri Lanka’s three October T20Is and two November Tests against Pakistan belong to the separate Sri Lanka tour of Pakistan 2026. This page covers only the three-team ODI competition, so it does not merge bilateral and tri-series fixtures into one total.

The PCB and ECB have confirmed the dates and venues, but not the start times. The fixture table therefore says Start time not announced instead of borrowing times from an unofficial feed.

Complete league schedule

The live fixture module below contains all six confirmed league games. Pakistan plays Sri Lanka on 18 and 27 October, and England on 20 and 25 October. Those two matches also appear on the Pakistan vs England permanent hub, alongside their live Test series and five confirmed 2027 ODIs. The two Pakistan-Sri Lanka ODIs feed their permanent rivalry hub, while Sri Lanka and England meet on 22 and 29 October.

The final date and venue are confirmed, but its teams are not. It will become a structured match only after the league standings identify the two finalists. Until then, adding Pakistan, England or Sri Lanka to that row would turn a possible path into a guaranteed fixture.

How the tri-series format works

The three teams play a double round-robin: every team faces each opponent twice, giving each side four guaranteed ODIs. The leading two teams then contest the final in Lahore on 31 October.

The official releases checked for this page do not yet publish the tie-break sequence for teams level on points. A future points table will follow the tournament’s own playing conditions rather than assume that net run rate is the first or only separator.

Two venues, split into two blocks

Rawalpindi hosts the opening half of the league phase on 18, 20 and 22 October. The competition then moves to Lahore for the remaining league games on 25, 27 and 29 October and the final on 31 October.

This is a venue assignment, not a start-time confirmation. Travel and ticket planning should wait for the PCB’s match-day details and official ticket route.

Why the series matters before the 2027 World Cup

All seven matches are ODIs, the same format as the 2027 Men’s Cricket World Cup. Pakistan fans have repeatedly asked where the team’s ODI preparation will come from; this event provides four guaranteed matches against two Full Member opponents, with a fifth possible if Pakistan reaches the final.

Each team’s permanent calendar counts only its four guaranteed league games until qualification makes the final definite:

Squads, tickets and how to watch

No official squad, ticket-sale route, territory broadcaster list or match start time was found in the PCB and ECB material checked on 28 August 2026. SportsMuntra will add each item after the responsible board, organizer or rights holder confirms it.

Viewing information will remain territory-specific. A Pakistan broadcaster cannot be copied into a UK or Sri Lanka row, and unlicensed streams will not be listed.

After 31 October, the same URL becomes the permanent 2026 archive with the champion and final result. It will not be rewritten as a later tri-series.
